The first-term DYK joint examination started at 09:00 over the Student-Teacher Support System (ÖDS), which was established to provide students with individualized instruction and teachers the opportunity to monitor their students. The exam ended at 15.30.
The examination included 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students attending courses from 81 provinces and held in 1,605 schools.
Pointing out that the Ministry is increasing its experience in digitalization in education day by day, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that the DYK examinations will also be held in digital environment. Minister Özer said that thanks to many projects they have launched so far, they have aimed to increase the skills and academic achievements of all stakeholders in education and put an extensive effort on digitalization in education. Stating that they started to conduct the DYK examinations by developing the module they have opened in ÖDS for support and training courses, Özer said that they held the first term DYK joint examination in digital environment for the first time. Stressing the importance of feedback in terms of learning, Özer noted that students will have the opportunity to evaluate themselves by getting their results immediately at the end of the exam.
Minister Özer announced that the Monitoring and Assessment Survey of Students, which was held in May, will be conducted through ÖDS this year.
