Within the scope of LGS, the central examination will be held across the country, including the provinces in the earthquake zone, on June 4, 2023. The applications for the exam will be made centrally by the Ministry on April 3-13 for all 8th grade students, except for students who are abroad and not registered in the e-School system and students in provinces where a state of emergency was declared due to earthquakes.
Thanks to the special measures taken for students in Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye and Şanlıurfa, where a state of emergency was declared due to the earthquake, students registered in these provinces will be able to take the exam in other provinces if they want.

The schools for the students who did not choose any province or district in the provinces where a state of emergency has been declared due to the earthquake, will be determined by the Ministry.
