MINISTER ÖZER IS IN UZBEKISTAN FOR 9th SUMMIT OF THE ORGANIZATION OF TURKIC STATESOur Minister Mahmut Özer is accompanying our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the 9th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Uzbekistan.
Presidents of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and observer state Hungarian Prime Minister and former President of Turkmenistan will be attending the summit hosted by Uzbek President Şevket Mirziyoyev.
Minister Özer attended the inter-delegation meetings chaired by our President Erdoğan and Uzbek President Mirziyoyev and the ceremony where Mirziyoyev presented "High Level, Imam Buhari' Order, the country's biggest state medal" to President Erdoğan.
Summit will be held in Samarkand
First summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held in the historical Uzbek city Samarkand.

The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States - Turkic Council held in İstanbul in November, 2021 and its summit will be held in historical Samarkand which is among the important centers of Turkish-Islam civilization.
